disk utility – Can’t resize APFS container of SSD disc to install Windows

[ad_1]

I’m trying to resize a AFPS container to install Windows with Bootcamp but it keeps freeze on resizing.

It’s a 2012 MBP 13” with Catalina (10.15.7) and with a replaced internal Disc replaced for a 1TB SSD with two partitions. One for system of 300GB and one for data of 700GB.

I want to resize the 700GB one to have 70GB for Windows 10.

I’ve tried with bootcamp and also via terminal with the command sudo diskutil apfs resizeContainer disk0s3 679.5G FAT32 BOOTCAMP 70G

diskutil apfs list shows this:

Both command line and Bootcamp doesn’t advance. It seems freeze. I’ve tried leaving it all night and the same.

What am I doing wrong? Is there any way I can do this?

Thanks!
